Japan hosted the elimination stage of the East Asian Champions League
The Asian Football Confederation introduced Japan as the host of the knockout stages of the Champions League in East Asia.
According to the reporter of Mehr, and with the announcement of the Asian Football Confederation, the knockout stages of the 2022 Asian Champions League will be held in the East Asia region, hosted by Japan.
The round of 16 will be held on August 18 and 19, the quarter-final on August 22, and the semi-final on August 25 in Japan.
The round-trip matches of the final are scheduled for February 19 and 26, 2023, although the venue of the final is not yet known.
The Asian Football Confederation has not yet announced the venue of the West Asian region. Khuzestan football team is the only representative of Iran in the round of 16, which will face Al-Faisali of Saudi Arabia.
